Good post. Social media is the new frontier for athletes and celebrities alike. The keys you're pointing to are valid. Still, there is yet another legitimate opportunity in the proper use of social media: instant revenue.

Yes, social media can be instantly monetized. While most producers of social media content typically use it to connect with friends, fans and whoever else might be listening in, the traffic generated often elevates one's ego rather than one's revenues. That's about to change. There's a lot of activity in the social media market trying to figure out how to monetize the content directly, rather than indirectly.

And that's where my experience and expertise comes in. Monetizing social media content requires understanding of particular principles and how to implement tailor-made strategies for the client. My company, Vizitnow3D, is involved in the social media market. We're racing to bring to market a disruptive brand that will clearly demonstrate how celebrity athletes, musicians and actors (and even non-celebrities) can monetize their social media content.

It's one thing for Dwight Howard to have a half-million Facebook fans. It's quite another to generate millions of dollars each year directly into his pocket from those same fans.
