In honor of the kickoff of the 2010 NFL season, Red Bull with the help of Activ8Social is launching #RedZones – a social media scavenger hunt in downtown New Orleans featuring Saints running back Reggie Bush. Eight lucky fans will have a chance to win a football personally autographed by Reggie Bush.
 
Fans outside of the New Orleans area don’t worry … Reggie Bush is also giving you the opportunity to win an autographed football from him by entering the #RedZones Challenge on Facebook through the stickybits tab!
 
The first #RedZones drop begins today at 12pm CST. How exactly can you win one of these footballs? Prior to the drop, a hint such as this on TwitPic will inform participants of the general Red Zone location. At a specified time (see drop schedule) a foursquare check-in will be feed to the @RedZones Twitter account. This check-in will contain more precise information of the drop location. Participants must then use their speed and focus, two elements critical to success in the Red Zone, to find and touch the football.

This Facebook tab functions as the center for all contest info: drop schedule, how to win, and links to the #RedZones Twitter, foursquare and stickybits accounts. More detailed information on how fans outside of New Orleans can enter the contest through the Reggie Bush Facebook Page can be found on the dedicated “stickybits” Tab which we will describe in more detail below.

At the conclusion every day, the Drop Schedule (the time each football will be available to win) will be updated with the next day’s times. Be sure to check daily for more information.

A crucial success factor will be your ability to keep abreast of all the latest news and hints on the @RedZones Twitter account. Also be on the lookout for pictures and shout-outs of #RedZones participants.

Can’t make it out to New Orleans for the #RedZones Challenge? No problem we got you covered. Using the FREE Stickybits app, Reggie fans from around the country are able to enter the contest by simply scanning the barcode shown below (also available on Reggie’s Facebook Page, the @RedZones Twitter account, and at an on-site display board in New Orleans) to upload their choice of texts, photos, or videos.

In order to win the #RedZoness Facebook contest, Reggie Bush is asking his fans to submit the most CREATIVE and most PASSIONATE entry showing support for #25 and the team leading up to the season opener against Brett Favre and the Vikings.
