The Great Gatsby was released today -- the highly-anticipated film based on the book that you said you read in high school but didn't actually read. Since Baz Luhrmann took the reins of the latest film adaption, fans can expect a stylized, visually-stimulating update of the novel, which was originally published in 1925. Another Baz-trademark? The NBA playoffs are in full swing, The second round has started, ending a first round filled with enough drama to make a made-for-TV movie on the Lifetime network. Times like these are when we're lucky we're sports fans, and even luckier that social media exist to monitor all this chaos.

Festival season is upon us as weekend 1 of Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival kicks into gear tomorrow in Indio, California. But the excitement is far from just beginning. Thanks to the keen creative marketing skills of the sun-drenched music festival, the anticipation has been building for months. Much like Bonnaroo, the Coachella campaign has been filled with photos, contests, and hashtags but in some ways, Coachella has rocked harder than Roo and vice versa.
